Startup Summer is open only to pre-first year, full-time MBA students who have made their first deposit. Startup Summer is an opportunity for students to explore an entrepreneurial career path, to test their appetite for entrepreneurial risk, and to better understand the entrepreneurial landscape. Past startup experience is not necessary.
WHICH ALUMNI COMPANIES SHOULD APPLY?

Startup Summer is an opportunity for Booth-founded startups under 7 years old, with a dedicated work space where the intern will be based,, to host a pre-MBA Booth student for an internship. The mentorship is really what makes Startup Summer stand out. Not only is this is an opportunity for our Alumni founders to gain access to a Booth quality intern at no cost to their startup, but it is also an opportunity for our Alumni founders to share their entrepreneurial journey and help shape the Booth class of 2023. We are pleased to support our interns financially for a maximum of three years. We hope that that this funding will enable you to consider having our students intern with you with fewer financial constraints.
APPLICATION PROCESS

After round 1 and round 2 admitted students have made their first deposits, they will become eligible to view job opportunities for Startup Summer on Booth’s job board in mid-March. Students will be able to review and apply for up to 10 posted startup positions. Startups will initiate interviews directly with finalist candidates.
