Eight Graduating Students Receive Polsky Founders’ Fund Fellowships to Work On Their Ventures Full-Time
The Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is pleased to announce the eight recipients of the 2023 Polsky Founders’ Fund Fellowship (PF3), a program that provides funding to graduating UChicago students intending to work full time on growing their startups.
The ventures accepted into the program will receive up to $24,000 in the form of a Simple Agreement for Future Equity (SAFE), which is paid out to an incorporated entity in quarterly intervals of $6,000 over the course of a year. Fellows will also have quarterly coaching check-ins with the Polsky Center.
PF3 is open to all UChicago students completing undergraduate or graduate degree programs. They must have an incorporated business that has gained credible traction and a full-time focus on their venture.

Anna Jacobs, MBA ’23 and Lori Ebenstein, MBA ’23 // inclusive+

Laura Mattos, MBA ’23 and Sydney Reynolds, MBA ’23 // Zelia
Zelia is an app that uses ML and generative AI to help users build outfits while providing brands insights on consumer preferences.
Charlotte Blais, MBA ’23 // Kadia Health
Kadia Health is a digital mental health app that provides specialized group therapy and community support to the family members of people with substance use disorder (SUD).
Bryce Wiatrak, MBA ’23 and Mary Regan Collineau, MBA ’23 // Vinalia
Vinalia is an innovative wine subscription company that collaborates with producers to co-brand and import exceptional wines.
Santiago Figuero, MBA ’23 // EverLeather
EverLeather aims to become the world’s leading restorer of luxury leather pieces by leveraging four generations of leather artisanship.
