Venture Capital Unplugged
During the winter and spring quarters, students interested in pursuing venture capital as a career will have the opportunity to meet monthly with investor-in-residence Dipa Mehta, MBA ’12.
Dipa is a cofounder and managing partner at Valeo Ventures. Valeo is the exclusive investment manager for Cobalt Ventures, the strategic venture capital arm of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. She sits on the boards of Bicycle Health, Handspring Health, MedArrive, OncoHealth, and Spectrum.AI. Valeo is building a new venture capital fund partnering with hospital systems and health plans to create bespoke corporate venturing vehicles.
These monthly meetups will help venture capital (VC) students reflect on their career goals, learn about VC, be inspired, and connect with their peers and industry professionals. In each of these 1-hour sessions, the group will meet with a different venture capitalist each month in a guided conversation led by Dipa, during which students can ask pointed questions and foster relationships.
