The Polsky Center requires all investees to sign a SAFE Sideletter to receive investment. The terms in the Sideletter are non-negotiable. External investors directly investing in NVC startups can use the side letter at their discretion; however, investees are expected to sign the letter to receive external investment if the investor opts in.
