Mac McCormack is a founding partner of Trident Capital, Inc., a private equity firm established in 1993 to invest in information and business service companies in a range of markets, including financial services, health care, general business, and select consumer markets. Previously, he was a managing director at Morgan Stanley and held various positions with the US Department of Defense, including as assistant secretary of the Navy (financial management). He is on the board of Illinois Tool Works and did serve on the boards of the Northern Trust Corporation and MeadWestvaco.
