Steve Morrissette is a visiting professor at Chicago Booth where he teaches M&A Strategy. His expertise includes strategic planning, M&A, and capital planning. He works with publicly-held firms, privately-owned firms with a special emphasis on planning for large family-owned businesses. He has made 12 angel investments, and six search fund investments, has advised numerous searchers, and is a member of the NextGen Growth Partners Advisory Board, a private equity fund focused on searcher investments. He is a member of the Booth ETA Advisory Committee.

Steve serves on several bank, corporate, and non-profit boards. He holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and a PhD in finance from Union University.
