Joseph Beatty is an investor in numerous early-stage companies and is an active member of Hyde Park Angels, the Midwest’s largest early stage investor. During his full-time career, Josephstarted as an engineer in the telecom industry and later co-founded and was the CFO of a telecom startup. After that, he was the CEO of two technology-based companies which were both successfully exited. Joseph earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the Chicago Booth.
