Johannes Huth, MBA ’86
Partner and Head of KKR EMEA
Johannes Huth joined KKR in May 1999 and is a partner of KKR and head of KKR’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He is also a member of the firm’s management committee and several of the firm’s investment committees. Prior to joining KKR, Johannes was a member of the management committee of Investcorp and jointly responsible for Investcorp’s operations in Europe. From 1986 to 1991, he worked at Salomon Brothers, where he was a vice president in the mergers and acquisitions departments in London and New York.
Johannes is currently chairman of Hensoldt Holding, and a member of the boards of Axel Springer and Coty.
He is tresorier and a member of the Conseil d’Administration of the Musee des Arts Decoratifs, Paris; vice-chair of the board of trustees of the Design Museum, trustee of the Staedel Museum in Frankfurt, member of council and audit committee, LSE, and a member of the global advisory board of Chicago Booth. He is a visiting fellow of Oxford University and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
He earned a BSc with highest honors from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Chicago Booth.
