James Casselberry, ’01 (XP-70), has more than 30 years of experience in impact investing, investment management, and investment consulting. He is currently chief investment officer at 4S Bay Partners, LLC (formerly Sarowitz Family, LLC) and is a board member at the Julian Grace Foundation and at Arc Chicago, LLC, the appointed board of Benefit Chicago. Casselberry has previously held leadership positions at Trias Capital Management, LLC, Wedgewood Capital Management, Inc., and The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. He also served in senior roles at NexTier Companies, LLC and Dearborn Park Group, LLC.
Casselberry is an adjunct professor at the Valparaiso University College of Business and the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Chicago Booth.
