Coleman is a professional product manager, semi-professional writer, and intermittent entrepreneur and angel investor. He serves as Director of Product Management at IonQ, the world’s leading public pure-play, full-stack quantum computing company, where he owns the roadmap for all things software and quantum-classical integration focused, including the IonQ Quantum-as-a-Service platform, Quantum OS, and SDKs. He has been at the company since 2018, where he was their first “customer-focused” and 20th overall employee, and has been intimately involved in both their technical and commercial maturation during that period. Before IonQ, he was an innovation- and New Product Innovation (NPI)-focused strategic technology consultant, serving a variety of Fortune 50 and Global 500 clients across the banking, consumer technology, retail, and transportation sectors.
