General Partner, Lightbank
Bill is a General Partner at Lightbank, where he brings over 15 years of venture experience, and has helped build multiple top quartile funds for both strategic and independent funds.
Bill was the Founding and Managing Partner of Evolv Ventures, a top decile venture fund backed by Kraft Heinz. Bill led investments in a number of industrial tech companies, including Fabric, Outrider and Parsable.
Prior to Evolv and a year after Lightbank was initially founded in 2010, Bill helped build out Lightbank’s first fund and led and/or served on the boards of Udemy (NASDAQ: UDMY), Locu (Acq. GoDaddy), Super (fka Snapcommerce), Fooda, Perblue, Ionic, Hireology, CoffeeMeetsBagel, and Ovia Health (Acq. Labcorp).
Bill was also a founding member of the Peacock Equity Fund, a $250m venture fund for NBCUniversal. Worked at GE Capital, where he helped financed early-stage life science companies and was a Financial Analyst at Morgan Stanley out of college.
Bill is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds a Bachelor Degree from Northwestern University and graduated with honors from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
