Alex Fair is the founder and CEO of MedStartr, managing partner of MedStartr Venture Partners, and is the emcee at MedStartr Momentum (MedMo) World Tour events.  Since 2010 he has also served as the leader one of the world’s largest communities focused on healthcare innovation, creating events, designing open innovation programs, collaborating to drive change with other leaders, and building online platforms to serve his fellow healthcare innovation enthusiasts. Originally trained as a scientist, Alex left academia when his first startup took off and was acquired later that year. Since then he has designed and built scores of innovations, founded 6 companies, served as CIO to large healthcare organizations, and designed several award-winning healthcare innovation programs. MedStartr is his 7th startup and MedStartr Venture Fund II is his third fund. His goal is to help thousands of new ideas transform medicine and continue to provide outstanding returns for his investors.
