Abel Bezares is an Associate at Cometa, a Mexico City-based venture capital firm, where he carries out financial and market analysis for new & follow-on investment opportunities and supports portfolio companies. Prior to joining Cometa in 2016 as an Analyst, Abel was part of Kubo Financiero: a fintech startup whose platform connects investors and borrowers to offer competitive interest rates. Abel has a degree in Financial Management from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and passed the Level I Examen of the CFA Certification.
