    Polsky Exchange South 1463 E 53rd St, Chicago, IL, United States

    Learn to safely use the Fab Lab's wood shop support tools: the table saw, bandsaw, chop saw, spindle sander, and drill press. This session will cover the basics of using these tools to create prototypes in wood. All participants must wear appropriate clothing, most importantly closed-toed shoes. Prerequisites: Polsky Exchange Membership, Fab Lab 101.

    Learn to carve 3D shapes out of materials like wood, plastic, and soft metals like aluminum. The X-Carve is also great for etching custom circuit boards.
