Dania Baig serves as the Associate Director for Events and Facilities at the Polsky Center. In her role, she plays a pivotal role in optimizing the usage of the Polsky Exchange, a multidisciplinary co-working space and business incubator, through marketing, liaising, and day-to-day oversight. Dania’s role is instrumental in fostering revenue growth for the Exchange by actively promoting available spaces to potential users while ensuring all compliance and safety standards are maintained.
Dania has always been passionate about serving Chicagoans and fostering economic growth in the city. Prior to joining the Polsky Center, she interned with the City of Chicago where she supported the reopening of Chicago’s Small Business Centers, along with the opening of eight new locations, after the Covid lockdown. She also volunteers at FORA (Forging Opportunities for Refugees in America), where she tutors and counsels refugees ages 6-18 to help them create lasting connections and achievements in the city.
Dania is a graduate of Yale University, where she performed with and managed the Yale Whiffenpoofs, and earned a degree in Ethics, Politics, and Economics.
