Global New Venture Challenge (GNVC) Finals

The Global New Venture Challenge (GNVC) is a unique platform designed to expand the Edward L. Kaplan, ’71, New Venture Challenge (NVC) business competition to Chicago Booth Executive MBA students worldwide. A benefit of the GNVC is the participation of our alumni and members of the business community in the mentorship and judging portions of the competition. Over 80 mentors, judges, panelists, and guest speakers participate on our Chicago, London, and Hong Kong campuses. Top ventures from each of the three global campuses will be invited to present at the GNVC finals, where investment and in-kind services will be distributed amongst finalist teams. Seats will be available on a first come-first serve basis. There will be an overflow room with an HD livestream in room 304.

Through the NVC, the Polsky Center has graduated more than 230 startup companies and created thousands of jobs for the economy. NVC startups have achieved more than $13 billion in mergers and exits, and include household names such as Grubhub, Tovala, Simple Mills, and Foxtrot.
