Advising Sessions with Jeremie Bacon

Serial entrepreneur Jeremie Bacon will be holding student advising sessions for any students interested in entrepreneurship. Please sign up for a 25 minute slot to meet with Jeremie. These sessions will be held in person at the Polsky Center (Suite 207 in the Harper Center).

Jeremie Bacon Bio

Jeremie is a CEO and entrepreneur in the FinTech software, recreation, and experiential hospitality industries. He is the Co-Founder of The Forge Adventure Parks, which designs, builds, and operates large-scale outdoor recreation parks to exhilarate, entertain, and educate guests of all ages and abilities. He is also the founder of Konverg Entertainment, which makes outdoor and indoor adventure and escape room games utilizing augmented reality tools in the family entertainment center industry.

Previously, he was CEO of Imagineer Technology Group, which he sold to Dynamo Software in August 2020. Before that, he served as CEO of Synap Software Labs, which he co-founded in 2015 and merged into Imagineer in 2018. Before Synap, he was President of Itiviti USA, a globally distributed futures & options trading and market access platform company. Before that, he spent ten years as the President and CEO of Backstop Solutions Group, which he Co-Founded in 2003. He started his career in the Institutional Equities Division of Goldman Sachs.

Jeremie is also co-founder of The Forge Charitable Adventures, a non-profit striving to improve the health of our communities by promoting active environmental stewardship and restoration. Additionally, he serves on the board of 1871, which works with founders, startups, growth-stage, and enterprise companies to explore ideas, build solutions, launch products, and grow. He serves on numerous other for-profit and non-profit boards and advises multiple venture capital, private equity funds, and technology companies.

Jeremie received a Master’s Degree in Technology Entrepreneurship from the University of Maryland College Park, a Research Diploma in Japanese and Economics from the University of Tsukuba, and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies and Global Economics from Brigham Young University.
