Shilpa Gadhok, MBA ’13, is passionate about building and re-energizing brands focused on changing the world for the better. In her present capacity as VP of Brand Marketing at HumanCo, Shilpa is responsible for re-defining and injecting a growth strategy for one of the firm’s portfolio brands. Prior to joining HumanCo, Shilpa owned and operated her own consulting practice focused on mission driven start-ups. Previous experience also includes leading the Emerging & Licensed Brands division at Wells Enterprises where she also managed the Halo Top brand. She spent the early part of her career honing her skills in brand management at The Procter & Gamble Company and The Hershey Company. In 2017, Shilpa was named to Ad Age’s 40 under 40 list and continues to serve her community as an Auxiliary Board Member for the Good Food Accelerator in Chicago, a public speaker, an advisor to start ups, and a member of the Hive Global Leaders organization. She earned her B.S. in Finance & Marketing from Drexel University and received her M.B.A from The University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering for organizations like The Shanti Bhavan Children’s Project, public speaking, and studying dance.
