Michael Frankel, JD, MBA ’95, MA, AB ’90, is president and CFO of Trajectory Capital Acquisition Corporation NYSE (TCOA) and founder and managing partner of Trajectory Capital Partners. Michael previously served as the head of the Deloitte New-venture Accelerator (DNA), the firm’s portfolio operations and strategy team for new technology businesses, where he was responsible for helping Deloitte strategize, build, and operate technology, analytics, and other expansions into new business models.  The businesses Michael helped build and scale at Deloitte are driving $1.5B+ in new revenue.

Michael has held leadership roles in global technology, information services and professional services companies including VeriSign, LexisNexis Group, IRI, GE Capital and Deloitte. He also served in CFO/COO and GM roles for high growth technology businesses and units. In corporate development/M&A roles he has led teams that have executed more than 100 M&A/strategic transactions ($10B in capital), and has closed 18 corporate venture investments supporting key ecosystem relationships while yielding highly attractive returns.

A frequent speaker on corporate growth and innovation, Michael is the author of three books and numerous articles on innovation, M&A and strategic transactions. He has served on public and private corporate boards as well as the Alumni Board of Governors at the University of Chicago.
