The Innovation Fund Associates (IFA) program is structured as a venture capital apprenticeship, where associates learn-by-doing as part of an interdisciplinary team. IFAs deep dive into one investment opportunity per cycle through the George Shultz Innovation Fund and get a close-up look at the commercialization process and what it takes to move a technology from the lab into the real world. The IFA program accepts students from across the university so undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs interested in venture capital and science commercialization are encouraged to attend and learn more. The info session will also feature IFA alumni who will share their experience and advice for prospective associates.
