Meet Polsky Member of the Month: Chareen Goodman

2019 January Polsky Member of the Month, Chareen Goodman

Polsky member Chareen Goodman is a certified project management professional with more than 20 years of experience in management consulting. She has managed IT and organizational change projects for countless Fortune 500 companies, played a critical role in turning around multiple multi-million dollar “at risk” projects, and even founded her own startup, Elevate Worldwide Corporation.

But in addition to all of these hugely impressive accomplishments and successes, Chareen is most defined by her passion for helping female entrepreneurs and other career professionals achieve their own goals.

After attending numerous events and workshops at the Polsky Exchange, Chareen joined as a member just this past July. She cites her attendance at a Polsky Female Founder’s workshop as her real “lightbulb” moment that this place could be a great fit for her work and passions… In addition to discovering what a great resource our Polsky Tech Bar was. Chareen admits, “They had me at “you can check out a lap top.”

As a career and business success coach, Chareen has found great fulfillment in meeting other entrepreneurs in the space, and she will even be hosting two workshops for other members this spring.

She explains her passion for what she does and her appreciation for the Polsky Center: “Now a diehard entrepreneur, I have the desire for educating businesses and a passion for equipping women to lead, manage, and create their own personal economy primarily through entrepreneurship. I see entrepreneurship as a path for financial freedom, leadership, and a legacy of wealth creation when done correctly.”

Chareen also agreed to answer some questions just for fun…

  1. What advice do you have for other members?
I think the best advice that I can give for Polsky members is to network and meet the other members. Extend a hand and have a conversation. I believe that miracles occur in conversations and a single conversation can change your life and your business.
  2. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
The ability to never get angry. Believe me this is a superpower. Can you just imagine the amount of stress you would eliminate out of your life?
  3. What would the title of your autobiography be?
Too BIG to Fail. Ignite the Power Within to Birth Internal Greatness.”

Be sure to look for Chareen around the Polsky Exchange! And stay on the lookout for other exciting ways to connect with other female entrepreneurs in 2019.
