Veteran-run Startup Rumi Spice Gets Chance in ‘Shark Tank’

The founders of Chicago startup Rumi Spice have been to war. But the thought of facing a panel of celebrity investors had them quaking, said Kimberly Jung, who, along with co-founders Emily Miller and Keith Alaniz, will appear on the May 5 episode of “Shark Tank.” “All three of us are military vets and have been in combat,” Jung said. “But walking into the tank was one of the scariest things we’ve ever done.” Read more.
