Learn to safely use the Fab Lab's wood shop support tools: the table saw, bandsaw, chop saw, spindle sander, and drill press. This session will cover the basics of using these tools to create prototypes in wood. All participants must wear appropriate clothing, most importantly closed-toed shoes. This computer numerically controlled router can cut and engrave large sheets of plywood and plastic as well as precisely carve soft metal like aluminum and copper circuit boards.
