Sterling Partners Investment Thesis Challenge (SPITC)

Sterling Partners Investment Thesis Challenge (SPITC)

Course Credit

SPITC participants in the MBA program may request to earn course credit for the challenge through the Private Equity & Venture Capital Lab (BUS 34702) by contacting Megan Fox, Director, Svider Private Equity Program. EMBA students, Master in Management students, and Master in Finance students are not eligible to receive credit, audit, or enroll in the PE/VC Lab.

The PE/VC Lab meets once a week in the evening for three hours during the winter and spring terms. SPITC participants interested in earning credit should be aware that the course covers a broad range of topics in PE and VC investing (not just investment thesis development in private equity settings). Read more about the course here. >>

There is no bidding required to gain entry into this course; students who have been admitted to SPITC must inform Megan Fox of their interest in enrolling in the Lab course. Please note that the course cannot be audited or taken pass/fail.

SPITC participants are not precluded from applying for the PE/VC Lab, if they so desire. Students may participate in both SPITC and the PE/VC Lab (through an internship with a different firm); however, only one course credit will be granted.
