Megan is the Director of the Svider Private Equity Program at Chicago Booth, where she combines her passion for higher education with her commitment to launching students into successful private markets careers. A University of Washington alumna, Megan brings extensive small business experience to her role, which deepens her understanding of entrepreneurship and venture creation. She is driven by a belief that experiential learning transforms academic theory into real-world capability, and has contributed to building one of the most comprehensive educational programs connecting students to opportunities in private equity, venture capital, and entrepreneurship through acquisition. By leveraging the resources of the Polsky Center and Chicago Booth’s extensive alumni network, she strives to ensure that every student has access to the guidance and opportunities needed to thrive in their chosen career path.

Megan’s work reflects her deep commitment to student success and her belief that the right combination of academic excellence and industry connection can unlock extraordinary potential in the next generation of leaders. Her student-centered approach has resulted in innovative programs that provide mentorship, hands-on training, and direct industry access through academic internships, investment thesis challenges, global case competitions, conferences, and one-on-one mentorship relationships between current students and accomplished professionals. In addition to program development, Megan manages strategic advisory councils that convene industry leaders, alumni, and practitioners to guide the program’s direction and ensure alignment with market needs, inform curriculum development, and help identify opportunities for student engagement in the evolving private markets landscape.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys exploring Chicago’s vibrant arts scene, cultivating her ever-growing garden, and embarking on creative adventures with her daughters.
