Technology Strategy for Early-Stage Founders

Building technology is a challenge for many early-stage founders and a critical step in the development of many businesses. In this interview-style presentation, we will discuss tactical technology strategy for startups with Dylan Hall, founder of several software technology companies and lecturer in the Masters Program in Computer Science. In addition to his roles as founder and instructor, Dylan has previously built MVPs for other startups as an outsourced CTO and advisor. We will cover the perspective of non-technical and technical founders, how to move from idea to implementation, how to evaluate potential hires and contractors, and how to make technology decisions with an eye towards low cost overhead and scalability. The conversation will be led by Steph Avalos-Bock, Assistant Director at the Polsky Exchange, and an experienced hardware technology entrepreneur and startup coach.
