About the Speaker //
Scott Meadow is a clinical professor of entrepreneurship at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an expert in the field of private equity and venture capital. He has more than 30 years of experience as a general partner with four successful venture capital and private equity firms including William Blair Venture Partners, The Frontenac Company, The Sprout Group, and Edgewater Funds. During his career, he has approved hundreds of equity financings in all sectors of the private equity and venture capital Industry, been active in fundraising, and has personally led, originated, or created more than sixty investments in a wide range of industries including healthcare services companies, consumer services and retail companies, as well as companies enhanced by the internet.
