Shutting Down a Startup

Starting a startup is hard, even with the perfect idea, a strong founding team, mentors, investors, and other resources. It’s supposed worth it because of the impact the startup can have on the world, the sense of accomplishment, the potential glory of ringing the NYSE bell. But what about when none of that happens? When the bank account slowly goes to zero, team members leave, products fail to launch. What then?
This panel features three founders whose startups found initial success, but eventually closed shop. We’ll hear how they made the hard decision to shut down, how they navigated the mental and business processes, and the lessons and experiences that made the journey worth it.
