Raising Your First Round of Capital
Raising the first round of capital can be a challenge task, but in a workshop hosted by the Polsky Center entrepreneurs will learn useful skills and tips to set them up for a successful round. Led by Greg Barnes, principal at Hyde Park Venture Partners, participants will take a look at different stages and models, and how that impacts what investors are a good fit. Barnes will provide suggestions for approaching investors, and preparing for the pitch process. Additionally, the workshop will provide guidance on what types of investors to pursue, and how to do it.
