Kevin P. Davenport is founder and CEO of The Ideal Candidate, a global soft-skills and workforce readiness company helping organizations improve retention, leadership, and performance. He also serves as director of NextDEAL and NextLevelExchange at the Chicago Urban League, and as a business coach for the Navy Pier Small Business Accelerator and the Small Business Growth Program at the University of Chicago’s Polsky Center. A three-time author, Kevin’s work on career success, leadership, and generational wealth has earned recognition including the Stellar Champion Award from the Chicago Minority Supplier Development Council and Microsoft’s Tech Maker Award.
