The Polsky Accelerator, launched in June 2012, gives student teams the opportunity to work intensively and solely on their businesses and social enterprises in a collaborative and dynamic environment over the summer.

This year, Demo Day will be comprised of two parts to make it even easier for the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Chicago to engage with our Polsky Accelerator companies! The day will begin with a 1.5 hour Innovation Showcase so that judges and attendees can mingle with each Accelerator company over lunch. After the Innovation Showcase, the Demo Day pitches will begin. 12 teams will give five minute pitches before the Demo Day audience of Chicago-area investors and entrepreneurs, media from various outlets and UChicago students, faculty and staff.
