Polsky Investor-in-Residence Ken O’Keefe, MBA ’93, will be taking one-on-one, remote advising sessions with students interested in private equity and healthcare entrepreneurship. Meetings are 30 minutes.
Ken O’Keefe cofounded Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company in 1996. BPOC is a middle-market private equity firm with $1.8 billion under management. The firm invests in the healthcare industry and is currently investing its fifth fund.
O’Keefe has served on a number of private and public company boards and currently serves on the boards of Jazz Pharmaceuticals, himagine solutions, and Cedar Recovery Centers. O’Keefe is a trustee of Marillac/St. Vincent Family Services, The Field Museum of Natural History, and Camillus Health Concern, a member of the steering committee of the Chicago Community Trust LGBT Fund, and a member of the advisory board of the Polsky Center. Ken received a BA degree in economics from Northwestern University and an MBA in finance from Chicago Booth.
