Navigating Financing & Strategic Considerations in Family Businesses
Join entrepeneur-in-residence Jamie Shah, MBA ’13, and investor-in-residence Duane Jackson in an interactive workshop to discuss and analyze the perspectives and skills required to navigate complex operational and capital considerations specific to family businesses, whether you are an owner, operator, or investor. Through this workshop, students will role play and be led through thorny situations that will provide new perspectives.
Jamie is a second generation operator at Chem-Impex, a family business focused on laboratory chemicals. Duane is the founder and CEO of Jackson Private Capital, a private equity firm that provides advice and long-term capital exclusively to family- and founder-led businesses.
This workshop is for current Booth students only.
