Mentor Chat with Katherine Schulman
Mentor chats are a new, informal way to learn about a mentor’s experience and ask questions related to your idea or venture. Similar to mentor appointments, mentor chats provide an opportunity to get feedback on ideas, talk through challenges, and learn from an expert’s experience. You’ll also get to learn from others as you hear their questions and responses.
This mentor chat features Katherine Schulman, a Senior Associate with VitalizeVC, an early-stage venture firm focusing on B2B software. VitalizeVC is a part of Vitalize Venture Group, alongside IrishAngels, an angel network affiliated with the University of Notre Dame. She spends her time sourcing potential deals, running the diligence process for the fund, and working with current portfolio companies. Prior to joining VitalizeVC, she worked with several other funds and startup incubators across Chicago including M25, an early-stage venture fund investing in Midwest-based companies, the Clean Energy Trust, a clean-tech venture fund, and the Hatchery, a food startup incubator.
