This workshop will highlight three topics relating to the operation of a startup company. First, the presenter will addresshow companies issue stock, including founders’ equity, vesting agreements, and incentive stock options. Management topics will be covered next, including corporate governance structures and the respective roles of consultants and stockholders. Finally, the session will summarize some of the basics of labor and employment, including employment and confidentiality agreements, consulting and advisory agreements, and employee compensation.
