Investing Essentials: Fireside Chat with a First-Year Venture Capitalist

Join Polsky Entrepreneur-in-Residence Doug Monieson, MBA ’89 and Ilana Habib, MBA ’25 in a fireside chat about being a first-year venture capitalist.

Ilana Habib is a principal at Cintrifuse Capital. Prior to her time at Cintrifuse, Ilana was an early team member at Mainstay (formerly AdmitHub), helping scale the organization to support millions of learners nationwide. At Booth, she has served as program manager of the entrepreneurship and venture capital group, teaching assistant for both the venture capital lab and the college new venture challenge, and worked as an early-stage investor with Impellent Ventures. She has also been actively involved in angel investing throughout her time at Booth. She holds a bachelor of science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a masters degree in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. As well as her MBA from Chicago Booth, with concentrations in entrepreneurship and strategic management.
