Immunoengineering 2021
Immunoengineering 2021 is a virtual conference hosted by the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering’s Chicago Immunoengineering Innovation Center in partnership with the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Featuring a star-studded panel of speakers invited from across the world, we will discuss some of the latest developments in the field, including some established industry players and a spotlight on some young ventures working in the area.
Engineering approaches are unraveling the complexity of the immune system and delivering clinical solutions. The study of immunology has revealed how single cells, and even single antigen receptors, can stimulate a large cascade of responses. As the amount of data generated has rapidly increased, engineering approaches are creating new ways to sift through the noise and deliver deeper insights, as well as leveraging the insight to create new molecules, materials, and therapeutics with promising implications for human health.
Learn about how a marriage of bioengineering and immunology are revolutionizing immunobiology, therapy, and diagnostics across these themes:
– Systems and computational immunology
– Microbiome engineering
– Protein engineering for immunotherapy
– Vaccine and adjuvant engineering
