The Polsky Center I-Corps program empowers Chicago-area university scientists, researchers, and students to learn about innovation and entrepreneurship and how to test the potential of their ideas. Funded by the National Science Foundation, the program is designed for university-affiliated teams working on projects related to the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) fields. Teams will receive a $2500 grant and are not required to have previous experience in business or entrepreneurship. Interested university-affiliated researchers, scientists, faculty, post-doctoral scholars, and graduate students working in the STEM fields are encouraged to attend.
