Tom Kompare, a Web Applications Developer from University of Chicago IT Services will walk through the development of a web application all students aspire to use; the Application for Graduation. To show how to engage key teams to work together on a large project, Tom will walk through its application development lifecycle: initial discussions with the Registrar’s Office, gathering requirements and design, collaborating with IT Services Academic Informations System team, tools used to develop the web application, testing, client acceptance, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
