About Rattan L. Khosa, ’79
Rattan has an inspiring story – one that demonstrates hard work and perseverance. Rattan first came to the United States from his native India with just $3.25 in his pocket, and in 1981 started AMSYSCO, a company that provides post-tensioning systems on commercial structures, out of his basement. Overcoming countless hurdles, Rattan has grown AMSYSCO into a highly profitable company that today captures some 70 percent market share. This year, he was the recipient of the Chicago Booth Distinguished Alumni Award.
