Fireside Chat with Patrice Thys: Riding the Chinese Startup Wave
An alum of the University of Chicago Law School, Patrice J. Thys has enjoyed a distinguished international career at the intersection of law and business. He has led European and Asian multinational corporations for more than 20 years, after beginning his career as an attorney in Washington DC and Paris. He will discuss China as a business place, the evolution of the Chinese startup scene, and how foreign companies can be successful in China. He will also tell the story of a failed wearable startup, iBeezi, and the role of team relationships in startup success.
Joining Patrice in conversation will be Alexis Van Gestel, a Senior Consultant with leading European management consulting firm Roland Berger.
