Al Goldstein, the Co-founder and CEO of Avant, will be kicking off the FinTech year at University of Chicago, highlighting the rapid rise and unique paths taken by Avant to become a leading online lending company and market disrupter. Professor Luigi Zingales, Robert C. McCormack Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance, and Charles M. Harper Faculty Fellow, will lead the discussion, highlighting trends in “The Fintech Revolution,” a class that Professor Zingales will be teaching for full-time students in the Winter 2018 quarter.
