Chicago Booth offers a broad spectrum of resources for those students interested in pursuing a career path of acquiring and operating a small business. There are various forms commonly employed to realize these aspirations, collectively referred to as the models of “Entrepreneurship through Acquisition”. These include search funds, incubated searches, and self-funded efforts. Since 2012, more than thirty graduates and young alumni have raised over $50 million dollars in equity capital to support their endeavors in this rapidly growing niche of entrepreneurship.
