Chicago Booth offers a broad spectrum of resources for those students interested in pursuing a career path of acquiring and operating a small business. There are various forms commonly employed to realize these aspirations, collectively referred to as the models of “Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition”. These include search funds, incubated searches, and self funded efforts. Since 2012, more than thirty graduates and young alumni have raised over $50 million dollars in equity capital to support their endeavors in this rapidly growing niche of entrepreneurship.
