Madeleine is a software engineer and University of Chicago graduate that previously founded Piecewise, a student loan counseling and repayment platform that universities used to lower student loan default rates. She raised $1.3M in venture capital in a pre-seed round for her company. For this workshop, you will learn:

• Fundraising basics every founder should understand
• Finding the right investors for your company
