Design for 3D Printing with Onshape
This workshop will get you started in OnShape, a free, cloud-based computer-aided design (CAD) software that can be used to model parts and create assembles. We’ll learn the basic functions of all similar modeling softwares on the market: sketch, dimension, trim, extrude, revolve, fillet, hole, and mate. Each attendee must bring their own laptop and charger. Bring your own mouse as well. We have a limited supply to lend out.
Free users get 5 private documents, and students with a school email get unlimited. You can create an account with OnShape at their website. Please do this before the class to save time!
