Due to weather, this workshop has been canceled. Please contact Lucas Peralta with any questions.
During this 60-minute seminar, you’ll learn how to produce and publish content on social media and company websites, and then package it for e-mail. We’ll cover the basics of search engine optimization and best practices for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. We’ll also discuss how to use these platforms to promote your own personal brand.
Leading the seminar will be Melissa Harris, a former vice president of marketing at Origin Investments and Pulitzer Prize-nominated business columnist at the Chicago Tribune. Melissa is also the founder of M. Harris, a consulting firm that helps businesses and executives matter more. Lunch will be served.
This event is an entrepreneur-in-residence (EIR) workshop. The entrepreneur-in-residence program provides mentorship and coaching to University of Chicago students. Successful Chicago-based entrepreneurs are available to meet throughout the academic year, and have provided key insight and mentorship to dozens of companies. We also host regular small group sessions and workshops with the EIRs over breakfast and lunch.
