Community Business Workshop: Navigating a Commercial Lease

Is your business seeking a commercial space to call home? Or are you currently in a commercial lease and looking to better understand the arrangement? Come learn more about how to navigate the commercial leasing experience in a way that protects you and your place of business. In this workshop, IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship Attorney Beth Kregor will go over what to expect – and what to look out for – when considering a commercial lease and when communicating with your landlord.

Food will be provided at 5:30 p.m. and the program will kickoff at 6:00 p.m.

About the Speaker //
Beth Kregor is the director of the IJ Clinic.  She works with law students at the University of Chicago to provide top-notch legal services to the Clinic’s clients, who are low-income Chicago entrepreneurs.  She also uses her scholarship and her voice to advocate for law reform, so entrepreneurs aren’t stopped in their tracks when they have no budget for lobbying the government.
