Combating Bias in AI: Lessons from Industry
As industries adopt AI for many applications, opportunities for bias arise. In some cases, as Professor Mullainathan’s research has shown, individuals are treated differently based on race despite best efforts to create unbiased algorithms. In this event, we will hear from several Booth alumni and industry professionals who are combating the bias they find in their industries. Learn about their experiences and strategies to use AI to create a more equitable world.
