The Economy of Now forum works to assist businesses using this On-Demand business model (or any business model) that is reliant on the use of independent contractors to start and grow. We are an association focused on providing tools and resources to build and support these professional relationships and build a solid foundation for business growth. This forum is a community of on-demand companies that allows everyone from C-suite executives to the gig workers they work with to compile best practices, tools and resources to ensure this new way of working works for everyone involved.

At this first event, bring your own lunch and discuss the best practices when setting up independent contractor agreements as well as the competing and similar goals of the both the on demand companies and the independent contractors with whom they work. This will give companies and freelancers the opportunity to learn the pros and cons of working with and/or being an independent contractor and keys to develop agreements that satisfy the needs of both parties.
